From the coming winter season onwards heli skiing will become a reality in Gulmarg. For interested skiers it will now be possible to enjoy many runs over steep and wide open snow fields at the 4'745m high Sunset Peak and to affront various long heli ski descents through beautiful forests in the lower part of this fantastic heli ski terrain. Heli skiing is a perfect addition to the existing gondola accessed slopes on Mt. Apharwat and an alternative way to explore Kashmir's unique winter world with its exceptional possibilities for numerous and breath taking powder snow runs over endless snowfields and through challenging forests.  

Heli Ski Gulmarg - Price and Dates 2010
In the winter 2010 heli ski programs will be run in Gulmarg for the first time. Due to the typical weather patterns of the Himalayas and its impact on high altitude sports activities we decided to propose to the participants of our "hosted" and "guided" programs the "single lift" Himalaya heli ski offer only.

• Single powder shots (pay per heli ski lift) during the period January 10, 2010 to February 20, 2010
• Costs per flight: 300 EUR per person (4 skiers per flight, includes 1'500 to 2'000 vertical meters per heli ski lift, an international guide and the taxi transfer from Drang back to Gulmarg)

For our guests it is possible to book single heli ski flights on the spot in Gulmarg. However, in order to reserve the required flight capacities we advise to let us know your heli ski plans with your booking.
Persons interested in full day or multiple day Himalaya heli ski programs in Gulmarg are kindly requested to contact us and to ask for an individual proposal.
